Ivo Sedlacek

An engineer with 7 years' experience in cosmetic and food production and 13 years' experience in pharmaceutical production. He graduated from the Institute of Chemical Technology in Pardubice, where he studied the course of Organic Technology.

After graduation he joined Lachema in 1993, where he occupied various positions in the manufacture of APIs (chemist), solid dosage forms (foreman) and in the aseptic manufacture of liquid dosage forms (technologist). In 1998 he became a member of the implementation team for a new cytostatic injections production plant. After its successful implementation he became the Production Plant Manager. As the Production Plant Manager he was responsible for production, occupational safety and hygiene, maintenance, validations and calibrations of production equipment, compliance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Environmental Management System (EMS) and for coordination of the production plant activities with other departments of the company. During his employment with Lachema and Pliva Lachema he participated in successful audits by SÚKL and FDA.

Between 2005 and 2011 he worked in AROMATICA, a company dealing with cosmetic and food production, where he occupied the position of Production & Development Manager. He was responsible for the development and introduction of new products and their production (herbal cosmetics and food supplements for the pharmacy market).

In 2012 he worked as Production Specialist in Oncomed Manufacturing. He became a member of the team for commissioning of a production line for cytostatic injections with isolator technology. He was jointly responsible for commissioning of the line under GMP regime and for obtaining of Manufacturing Authorisation from SÚKL.

Since 2013 he is a member of the Pharm Partners team.
