Jiri Verner

A Master of Biochemistry with 35 years' experience in pharmacy and chemistry. He graduated from J. E. Purkyně University in Brno. He continuously participated in many trainings in GMP, validations and production management.

During his studies he joined Lachema, where he worked as a chemist and subsequently a technologist at the Department of Chemistry; since 1986 he occupied various positions at the Department of Pharmacy (pharmacy production preparation technologist, chemist and foreman in the injections production plant, technologist and specialist in pharmaceutical technologies). Since 2006 he worked as Manager of CTS Injections Production Plant. He was jointly responsible for production of medicinal products (for the safety and hygiene in the workplace, for manufacturing equipment, its maintenance, validation, calibration, compliance with GMP and EMS principles) and for coordination of the production plant activities with other cooperating departments.

He was a member of a team of technologists responsible for the production in the CTS injections production plant, validations, maintenance and servicing of equipment, personnel training, preparation of documents and routine production. He participated in many audits conducted by foreign authorities, SÚKL and FDA. He also participated in the negotiations and takeovers of certain equipment for the production of injections in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Since 2011 he is a member of the Pharm Partners team.
